CHICAGO, Ill. – The University of Toledo women's tennis team pulled off an excellent win on Friday at UIC, defeating the Flames 4-3.
"Super proud of the squad today," head coach Tracy Mauntler said. "The energy was contagious during the singles matches and the girls really fed off one another. We took big steps forward today and look to stay sharp tomorrow."
UIC took the doubles point, winning on the top two courts, to take a 1-0 lead in the match.
Sophomore Sloane Teske claimed the first singles victory to grab Toledo's first point of the day.
