TOLEDO, Ohio— Toledo's women's track and field team placed 11 student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team, the league office announced Wednesday.
The MAC bestows academic all-conference honors for both the indoor and outdoor seasons. This year, Simiuc earned her fourth total Academic All-MAC honor while Bakley, Khabina, Kwiatkowski, and Sherman all earned their third. This is the second award for Hostettler, Kleespies, and Lima while Horner, Nation, and Steigerwald are all first-time honorees.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.
