CLEVELAND, Ohio - Toledo has been picked to win the West Division for a third-straight season in the 2019-20 Mid-American Conference Men's Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll released on Thursday.
The Rockets received 69 points and 11 of 12 first-place votes. Northern Illinois (52 pts.) edged Ball State (51 pts., 1 first-place vote) to finish second in the West and was followed by Central Michigan (41 pts.), Western Michigan (23 pts.) and Eastern Michigan (16 pts.).
Bowling Green was tabbed to capture the East Division with nine first-place votes and 69 points. The Falcons were followed by Buffalo (58 pts.
