BREMERTON, Wash. – Sophomore Jamie Tofte Nielsen shot a career-low even-par 72 on Monday to lead the Toledo men's golf team on the first day of Washington's Husky Invitational. Nielsen is tied for 34th place in the individual standings with a team-best one-over 145, while the Rockets sit in 15th place in the team standings at 10-over par 586.
Sophomore Barend Botha fired Toledo's best round of the day with a three-under 69 in the opening holes and is alone in 44th place at three-over par 147.
