TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team collected 22 hits in another scorching offensive effort to clinch another Mid-American Conference series win with an 11-5 victory over Central Michigan at Scott Park on Friday.
The Rockets (27-27, 16-13 MAC) scored the final 10 runs of the game to quickly erase a 5-1 deficit to the Chippewas (20-34, 11-18 MAC). Toledo scored four in the bottom of the fourth to tie the game and put the game away with three runs in both the sixth and seventh innings. The Rockets have won four-straight MAC games and six of seven.
