AVON, Ohio – The Toledo baseball team's run in the 2025 MAC Tournament ended in the Championship Game in a 6-3 defeat to No. 1 seed Miami at Crushers Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Playing in their first title game since 2009, the Rockets (32-29) fell after the RedHawks (35-21) scored four runs across the first three innings and tacked on one more each in the seventh and eighth.
The Rockets finished with a 4-2 record in its run in Avon, marking the most wins in the tournament in program history. Sunday's championship contest marked Toledo's fourth-straight elimination game of the tournament.
