Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's track and field team will be traveling to the Mid-American Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23. This year's indoor championships will be hosted by Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
In sprints, Shanice Williams will be defending her title in the 60-meter event and will be joined by fellow senior Nautica Hill. Williams and Hill will also be competing in the 200-meter event. This season, Williams posted a personal-best 24.60 in the 200 meters to take third at the Doug Raymond National Qualifier.
