TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo will send five individuals to Bloomington, Ind. on Wednesday-Saturday, May 25-28 to compete in the NCAA East Regional Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
The women's competition begins Thursday with three Rockets competing - sophomore in the 1500m and both junior and senior in the 10,000m. On Saturday, senior and sophomore will run the 3000m steeplechase, while Sherman will close out the meet in the 5000m. Quarterfinals of the 1500m will also run Saturday.
In each East Regional individual event, the top-12 finishers will join the top-12 finishers of the West Regional for a field of 24 at the national championships.
