Toledo, Ohio - Six former student-athletes were inducted into the 2019 Varsity T Hall of Fame at a ceremony at the Hilton Garden Inn in Perrysburg Friday night.
Members of the induction class included: David Fluellen (Football, 2010-13); Jeremy Griffiths (Baseball, 1997-99); Emma Kertesz (Track/Cross Country, 2008-12); Jade Montrie (Wrestling, 1987-91); Rian Pearson (Men's Basketball, 2011-14); and Vicki Traven (Women's Soccer, 2008-11). The class will also be introduced at halftime of the Rockets' football game vs. Eastern Michigan on Saturday. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m.
Also honored at the event were Dennis Tobias, who received a distinguished service award, and Thomas Gibney, who received an honorary lifetime membership.
