SIMPSONVILLE, Ky. – Toledo moved up five spots following the first round on Saturday and sits in seventh place with approximately one hole to play in the second round at Louisville's Cardinal Cup.
"The team continued to become comfortable and relaxed as the day went on," first-year head coach Jenny Coluccio said. "They did a great job of embracing the conditions (20-30 mph winds) and being in control of themselves. I'm very proud of how we are learning from every experience and using it in our next round."
Senior Pinyada Kuvanun made the Rockets' biggest jump after posting a six-over par 78 in her first 18 holes.
