TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's soccer team found itself on the wrong side of the scoreboard Thursday evening, as the Rockets (7-12-0, 4-7-0 MAC) fell 3-1 to Bowling Green (12-5-2, 10-1-0 MAC) in a rainy match at Paul Hotmer Field. The Rockets' loss eliminates them from the MAC tournament.
After 45 minutes of action, the Rockets and Falcons went into the intermission tied at 0-0. Bowling Green controlled the first half, outshooting Toledo 11-2, putting six on frame. The Falcons stepped up the pressure, putting one in the back of the net just 43 seconds into the second half.
