BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Toledo women's track & field team earned three podium finishes on the opening day of the 2023 Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships, hosted by Bowling Green State University, on Friday. The Rockets' distance medley relay team recorded a second-place finish while sophomore Joy Chirchir and and junior Madeline Vining placed fourth and fifth, respectively, in the 5000m.
The Rockets are in seventh place with a total of 17 points after one day of action.
The Rockets' DMR team of Emily Vining, Jaydon Cirincione, Ava Moran, and Lou Trois finished runner-up in the event, completing the race in 11:46.
