INDEPENDENCE, Minn. – Toledo shot a one-under par 283 on Monday en route to finishing in an 11th-place tie with Coastal Carolina at Minnesota's Gopher Invitational. The Rockets finished the 54-hole event with a one-under par 283 and were competing against a field that included five schools ranked in the Top 60 of last year's Golfstat rankings.
Junior Barend Botha topped the Rockets today at the par-71, 7,293-yard Windsong Farm Golf Club with a two-under 69. After carding a three-over 74 in his opening round, Botha played the final two rounds at six-under par to tie for 18th place in the individual standings.
