TOLEDO, OH – Ball State buried 14 three-point field goals on Tuesday evening to send Toledo to an 82-74 setback on Senior Night in Savage Arena. The loss dropped the Rockets' record to 15-15 overall (8-9 MAC), while the Cardinals improved to 19-11 overall (10-7 MAC) to remain tied for first place in the MAC's West Division.
Senior guard Jonathan Williams paced Toledo offensively with 23 points to move into fifth place on UT's all-time scoring list with 1,707 points. Senior forward Steve Taylor, Jr. also was in double figures with 17 points to go along with 15 rebounds for his 22nd double-double of the season.
