TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo men's tennis team hosted Ball State on Saturday morning, falling to the Cardinals by a score of 4-3.
The match was originally scheduled for a 2:00 p.m. start, but was pushed up to 10:00 a.m. to account for potential rain in the afternoon.
"Tough one to take," head coach said. "It's never surprising to me to go 4-3 with Ball State, win or lose. It's also never surprising to have a lot of crazy twists and turns, and today's match was no different."
Toledo started the match by winning the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead.
