Rockets Fall at Kent State in OT, 87-85

Kent, Ohio – three-point attempt at the buzzer in overtime bounced off the heel of iron, ending Toledo's chances to pull off a road victory at Kent State (15-4, 4-2 MAC). The Rockets lost to the Golden Flashes, 87-85.

Toledo (15-4, 3-3 MAC) led by as many as 17 points in the second half before KSU rallied. KSU's Jaylin Walker led all scorers with 36 points, 28 coming in the second half and overtime.

Toledo was led by junior center career-high 22 points. Sanford added 17 points, senior forward had 16 and sophomore guard chipped in with 15.
