AUBURN, Ala. – Sophomore Riley Mohr's groundout scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to lift Toledo to a 7-6 victory over North Carolina A&T on Sunday, at Auburn's Jane B. Moore Memorial Tournament.
Freshman Sidney Griffith ignited the Rockets' offense vs. North Carolina A&T in the first inning with a leadoff triple to center field. Senior Dayna Denner followed with an RBI single to put Toledo on the board. Sophomore Arika Reed registered an RBI single in the second, and senior Aubrey Reed blasted a two-run homer to plate two runs for the Rockets in the third.
