TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo baseball team ended its season on Sunday with a pair of losses to MAC Champions Central Michigan, falling 5-4 in the first game before enduring a 10-1 loss in the second game.
The Rockets end the year with a record of 23-33 and a 21-19 mark in conference play, good for a fifth place finish in the MAC.
"This was not the way I envisioned the final series of the season ending," head coach Rob Reinstetle said. "But as we did all year, we battled and played Central Michigan really tough in two one-run losses this weekend.
