COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Following up on their academic success from the fall semester, the University of Toledo swimming and diving team earned CSCAA Scholar All-America Team accolades for the spring semester after posting a 3.69 grade-point average. The team's GPA was tied with Bowling Green for the seventh-highest GPA in the country.
"I am extremely proud of this team," said head coach Jonas Persson. "We work hard in the pool and classroom, and this honor shows just how hard we work. Not only do we have a great team GPA, but individually, we had 12 girls make Academic All-MAC, and a lot of them have really tough and challenging majors.
