CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Toledo Softball (4-5) split the final day of the UT Chattanooga Challenge on Saturday, starting with a 5-1 loss to Indiana State but ending with a convincing 7-4 victory over Tennessee Tech to end the tournament with a 3-1 mark. Day two was highlighted in the latter game by sophomore pitcher (7 IP, 7 SO, 3 BB) earning her third win of the season and senior bringing in three runners on two early-innings hits.
Game 1:
- The Rockets' first game of the day was a grind from the start with neither team giving an inch as both sides left three runners on base by the start of the third inning.
