Athens, Ga.— Toledo and Georgia opened up a three-game series on Friday night with a game won by the Bulldogs, 7-0.
The Rockets surrendered one run each in the third, fourth, and fifth innings before UGA broke the game open with a four-run eighth. UT had chances offensively, most notably in the final two innings, but was unable to push a run across the plate.
Senior Matt Hansen, senior Dalton Bollinger, and freshman John Servello had the hits for UT. Bollinger started at first base and hit fifth in his first game since Feb.
