Kalamazoo, Mich. – The Rockets finished the fall portion of their season at the MAC Indoor Invitational, where junior/sophomore duo Thawin Suksathaporn/Tyler Gargas took home the flight three doubles crown.
Friday's portion of the tournament focused solely on doubles play, where Suksathaporn/Gargas snagged wins over Binghamton's Alejandro Pena/Inigo Saez (8-2) and Buffalo's Nickolas Frisk/Jonah Murphy (8-3) before defeating Ball State's Tom Carney/Bryce Bonin (8-5) in the championship. Also within flight three, senior/freshman duo Serjen Olmedo/Cole Shoults took third-place, claiming victories over Binghamton's Valentin Bouchet/Josh Druger (8-4) and Buffalo's Frisk/Murphy (8-1).
