RICHMOND, Ky. – Freshman Promise Cross dominated the field at the Rick Erdmann Twilight on Friday with a first-place finishes in the long jump (5.41m) and 100m hurdles (14.99). Both performances were personal-bests for Cross, two of 14 for the Rockets on the day, and place her in the top 20 in the Mid-American Conference with only one meet remaining for her before the MAC Championships (May 7-8).
Other first-place performances came from junior Riley Kwiatkowski in the 1500m with a personal-best time of 4:48.83. Senior Yana Khabina leaped her way into first in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.
