PERRYSBURG, Ohio – Four current members and one former member of the University of Toledo women's golf program were in action last week in the Ohio Women's State Amateur at Belmont Country Club.
Highlighting the Rockets' play was incoming freshman Macy Hanus, who advanced to the semifinals of the championship flight before falling 3&1 to Youngstown State's Katlyn Shutt. The Bowling Green, Ohio native posted victories over Kent State's Julia Goodson (1up in 21 holes). Saginaw Valley State's Sabrina Coffman (1up) and defending champion Ali Green (1up) to reach the semifinals.
Former Rocket Allison Schultz tied for the best round during qualifying with a one-under par 72.
