Toledo, Ohio - The University of Toledo women's track and field team heads to Ann Arbor, Mich. for the Len Paddock Open on Friday. Field events begin at 10:00 a.m. and track events begin at noon.
The Rockets' most recent competition was at last weekend's Hillsdale GINA Relays in Hillsdale, Mich., where senior led Toledo in the throws category with first-place finishes and MAC qualifying tosses in the shot put (15.50m, PR) and discus (49.92m, PR). Fellow senior also posted a MAC qualifying time in the 1500 meters, stopping the clock at 4:25.03 to take third. Junior garnered an event victory in the 400m hurdles, stopping the clock at 1:01.
