Toledo, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's tennis team defeated Horizon League foe Wright State, 5-2, at Twos Athletic Club on Saturday. The Rockets' victory was built solely on singles points.
Despite freshman/senior duo / 6-2 win on the No. 3 court, the Rockets dropped the doubles point.
In singles play, senior , junior , and freshmen and swept their opponents in two sets. At the No. 6 spot senior locked in for a three-set thriller, taking the first set 6-2 before dropping the second 3-6. Aleck bounced back to clinch the win 10-8 in the third set.
