CLEVELAND — After winning its first Mid-American Conference tournament title since 2001, the University of Toledo had two players named to the all-tournament team.
Sophomore Mikaela Boyd earned a spot on the team and was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. Freshman Mariella Santucci joined Boyd on the team. Other players voted to the team were Northern Illinois’ Ally Lehman and Courtney Woods, and Western Michigan’s Breanna Mobley.

Boyd earned MVP honors after an incredible performance in Saturday’s championship game, getting 27 points and 14 rebounds in 38 minutes in an 82-71 win against the Huskies.
