TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's basketball team announced its captains for the 2021-22 season on Monday.
Sophomore Yaniah Curry, junior Quinesha Lockett, junior Sophia Wiard, and junior Hannah Noveroske were all voted team captains by their teammates for the Rockets' upcoming campaign
"All four of our captains are very wise choices by our team," head coach Tricia Cullop said. "They are all outstanding teammates, leaders, and ambassadors for our program."
Quinesha Lockett (Omaha, Neb.) was a third-team All-MAC selection last season, averaging 19.
