MUNCIE, Ind. – For the second straight day, the Toledo baseball team put on an offensive show at the MAC Tournament and this time it led to a 13-5 win over Ohio.
The Rockets now advance to another elimination game set for 4:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon. They will face the loser of the Ball State vs. Central Michigan matchup that is set to begin at 1:45 p.m.
Friday's game got off to a rocky start for the Rockets, who found themselves trailing 4-0 after the top of the first. Toledo answered back with four runs in the bottom of the first and continued to pile it on offensively, scoring at least 10 runs for the second straight game.
