TOLEDO, Ohio – Josh McKinney has been hired an an assistant athletic trainer for the University of Toledo sports medicine program, senior associate athletic director for health and wellness Brian Jones announced Wednesday.
McKinney became a member of the University of Toledo Sports Medicine staff in November 2021. In his role as Assistant Athletic Trainer, McKinney works directly with the women's swimming and diving program and provides care for the cheer teams.
Prior to joining the Rockets, McKinney served as an athletic trainer at the University of Miami, working directly with the rowing, cross country, and men's tennis teams.
