TOLEDO, Ohio — Frank Okam has been hired as an assistant football coach at the University of Toledo, Head Coach Jason Candle announced today. Okam will coach the defensive line for the Rockets.
Okam most recently served as the defensive line coach for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 and for the Carolina Panthers in 2020-21. A former NFL defensive lineman who was an All-American at the University of Texas, Okam also has college coaching experience at Rice and Baylor.
"We are very pleased to add Frank Okam to our coaching staff," said Candle, who is entering his eighth season as the Rockets' head coach.
