TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo travels to Central Michigan this Saturday, Oct. 16 (3:30 p.m./CBS Sports Network) for what is shaping up to be a critical MAC West Division contest for both schools.
Toledo (3-3, 1-1 MAC) is coming off a 22-20 loss to Northern Illinois on Oct. 9 and can ill-afford to fall further behind the Huskies (2-0 MAC) in the race to represent the West Division at the MAC Championship Game.
Toledo's loss to NIU was tough to swallow because it easily could have gone into the win column. The Rockets scored a go-ahead touchdown with 3:35 remaining, but the Huskies answered with a field goal with just 26 seconds left.
