Rocket Quartet Named Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars

TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo men's golfers Jamie Butler, Marijn Hoogeveen, Mads Jensen and CJ van Wyk were named 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced today.

All four Rockets possess a 3.7 grade-point average or higher with Buter leading the way with a 3.949 GPA in accounting. He is followed by Hoogeveen's 3.900 mark in business, Mads Jensen's 3.726 figure in marketing, and van Wyk's 3.707 GPA in finance.

To be eligible for the GCAA All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA, or receiving their Associate's Degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA.
