TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo's Rhyenne Filisi was named Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week on Thursday after a terrific performance vs. Ball State on Wednesday.
Filisi had a great match on Wednesday, hitting .538 and tallying nine kills in Toledo's three-set win vs. Ball State. Filisi's kill total was one shy of her MAC high of 10, which she had hit on two occasions. Her .538 attack percentage was her second-highest in MAC play as well. Filisi stood tall in the second set, recording the final three points on kills to help the Rockets put away the Cardinals on their way to a sweep.
