WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Sophomore Rachel Mackinlay paced the Toledo women's golf team following the first day of Purdue's Boilermaker Classic on Monday. Mackinlay is tied for 40th place after carding rounds of 78 and 75 on the par-72, 6,411 yard Kampen-Cosler Golf Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.
Mackinlay played her first 11 holes of the second round at two-over par before posting a double-bogey. She then registered four straight pars before closing out her round with a birdie in her Rocket debut.
Sophomore Valeria Lizcano and freshman Alice Tonts tied for Toledo's low round of the day at two-over par 74.
