TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's basketball fifth-year senior Quinesha Lockett has been selected to the 2023-24 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Women's Watch List, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced.
The Naismith Trophy is presented annually to the most outstanding college basketball player in the country.
Lockett was one of 50 players named to the preseason watch list, and was joined by Columbia guard Abbey Hsu as one of just two mid-major players to be recognized.
A Preseason First-Team All-MAC selection, Lockett has been tapped for two other major award watch lists as well. Last month she was named to preseason watch lists for the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award and the Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Award.
