Tricia Cullop was at a gym in Wisconsin watching a Midwest recruit when a player on a nearby court made Cullop keep turning her head.
The slashing, shooting, passing, and defending was too difficult to ignore. Not only that, but the natural athleticism and elevating teammates told Cullop to keep the player on her radar.
Five years later, Quinesha Lockett is carving out her place on the Mount Rushmore of Toledo women’s basketball.
“Quinesha Lockett is one of the best players to ever wear our uniform,” Cullop said, “and we are so thrilled she is at Toledo, not only representing on the court but in the classroom and also in the community.
