The final week of college basketball’s regular season has arrived.
Four months of peaking, swoons, heartbreaking losses, and conference championship races will culminate on Sunday. For the University of Toledo’s men’s and women’s teams, it could be a historic weekend.
The men need to win at Miami and in the season finale at Savage on Friday against Kent State, and hope Akron loses once, to pull off an improbable fourth consecutive Mid-American Conference title. The women only need one win to assure a third straight MAC title and two for its third outright championship in as many seasons.
