The University of Toledo Rockets defeated Eastern Michigan 49-23 in a Mid American Conference women’s college basketball game on Saturday at the Gervin GameAbove Center in Ypsilanti, Mich. The day was punctuated by honoring the meaning of Jan. 6, which is the birthday of Swoop The Eagle, Eastern Michigan’s mascot.
