TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo's Pawit Sornlaksup was recognized for his outstanding athletic and academic performance this season when the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2023 Academic All-District Men's Tennis Team.
Sornlaksup, a junior from Rayong, Thailand, holds a 3.877 GPA and is pursuing a degree in information systems. He earned Mid-American Conference Male Scholar Athlete of the Week recognition on March 29 and April 26.
Sornlaksup, a two-time MAC Player of the Year, currently holds a 43-match winning streak in singles play.
CSC Academic All-District honors recognizes the nation's top student-athletes by their academic achievements and athletic accomplishments.
