Palmer Yenrick Qualifies for United States Amateur for Second Straight Year

TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo's Palmer Yenrick is heading to the Rocky Mountains after qualifying for the 123rd United States Amateur on Monday by firing a four-under par 138 at The Meadows at GVSU in Allendale, Mich. Yenrick also played in last year's U.S. Amateur and will represent the Rocket men's golf program next month at the Cherry Hills Country Club in Cherry Hills, Colo. and the Colorado Golf Club in Parker, Colo. on Aug. 14-20.

An Oregon, Ohio native, Yenrick fired back-to-back two-under par 69s but needed to par his first playoff hole vs. Central Michigan's Arie Jackman to qualify for the national event.
