University of Toledo distance runner Janelle Noe and assistant coach Samantha Bluske ran in the USA Track and Field Championships on Thursday in Des Moines, Iowa.
Noe, who placed 11th in the NCAA meet in the 1,500 this season, finished in 4 minutes, 25.38 seconds in the 1,500 prelims on Thursday to place 10th in her heat and 30th overall out of 30 competitors in the event.
The fastest qualifying time in the 1,500 was the 4:07.67 turned in by Jenny Simpson.
Noe received a waiver from the NCAA and will back at Toledo for another indoor and outdoor track season next year.
