TOLEDO, Ohio - The Toledo women's basketball team opens its defense of the Mid-American Conference Tournament crown on Wednesday vs. Western Michigan (11:00 a.m./ESPN+) at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland.
Toledo (25-4, 17-1 MAC) enters the 2024 MAC Tournament as the No. 1 seed for the third straight season. The Rockets have won three consecutive regular season Mid-American Conference titles and also captured the 2023 MAC Tournament crown.
Toledo enters the MAC Tourney with plenty of momentum, as the Rockets have won 13 consecutive games, tied for 11th-longest in the country and is its longest since winning a school-record 17 in a row last season.
