TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo women's basketball student-athletes Kendall Carruthers and Ella Weaver received new cars from Jim White Toyota through a Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) partnership on Monday.
This reveal marks the third consecutive season that Jim White Toyota and NIL agency Urban Adrenaline Sports have teamed up to support Toledo women's basketball student-athletes through the car giveaway. Both organizations have committed to empowering Toledo's female student-athletes through NIL opportunities.
The surprise reveal occurred at Savage Arena. Student-athletes and staff were not given prior knowledge as to which players would receive the cars.
