Not only will the University of Toledo men's basketball team be featuring a lot of new faces this season, but they will also be getting used to a new normal the coronavirus pandemic has caused.
The Rockets, with seven new players — three true freshmen, three junior-college transfers, and one transfer — were back on the hardwood this week for their first practice.
The team is hoping to develop a bond in what will potentially be a different-looking season.
"I think everybody in our program was ecstatic to get back on the court," Toledo coach Tod Kowalczyk said.
