Omar Mims, Jr., is among the top-five fastest recruits the University of Toledo has ever signed.
And he isn’t even the fastest player in the 2026 recruiting class.
Noah Sanders ran a school-record 100-meter dash last week with a blistering time of 10.68 — and that’s the “slowest” fastest time between Mims, Sanders, Tyrell Russell, and Kamren Flowers, the speediest quartet the Rockets have signed in a single class.
“To have four guys that are hitting sub-10.7 100-meter times, I don’t know if I’ve been a part of a class anywhere that I’ve been where we’ve signed four guys in the same year with those types of times,” UT general manager Bryan Gasser said.
