TOLEDO, Ohio- University of Toledo quarterback Mitchell Guadagni was named Male Scholar Athlete of the Week by the Mid-American Conference after his performance in Toledo's 31-24 victory over Western Michigan on Oct. 5.
Guadagni threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns against the Broncos and added 39 yards plus two TDs on the ground. The senior quarterback helped lead the Rockets to their fourth straight win and their first conference victory of the season. He leads the MAC in passing efficiency (154.0) and his four rushing touchdowns are the most among MAC quarterbacks.
A Hudson, Ohio native, Guadagni is pursuing his MBA in Marketing after graduating with his bachelor's degree in marketing last May.
