Toledo, Ohio - The Toledo men's tennis team will kick off spring break action in Conway, S.C. on Sunday, March 3 with back-to-back matches against Coastal Carolina at 10:00 a.m. and Ashland at 4:00 p.m.
The Rockets are coming off a fresh two-match winning streak, capturing road wins over Chicago State and UIC.
On Friday, Feb. 22 UT clinched a tight 4-3 victory over Chicago State, capturing the doubles point and winning on the No. 1, No. 5, and No. 6 singles courts. Senior Vince Anzalone/junior Danilo Vukotic defeated George Botha/Gonzalo Martinez 6-3, while senior Juan Carranza/freshman Cole Shoults defeated Cody Wurzelbacher/Nicholas Liddy 6-1 to win the doubles point.
