TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo offensive lineman Matt Hofer has been selected to the 2025 Allstate AFCA Good Works Team, the American Football Coaches Association announced on Tuesday.
With the selection, Hofer becomes the first student-athlete in program history to be selected for the Good Works Team. He was one of just 11 players from the FBS and one of 23 individuals – 22 players and one coach selected to the list.
The redshirt freshman has made two recent international mission trips to Kenya and the Philippines. In Kenya last year, Hofer engaged with vulnerable children, including some who were trafficked, at schools and orphanages by teaching, playing games and sharing hope.
