TOLEDO, Ohio - Head Coach Joe Abraham announced on Monday that pitcher Makenna Durieux (Massillon, Ohio) is transferring to the University of Toledo from Wright State University. Durieux is eligible immediately to play for the Rockets in the 2021 season.
"Makenna comes to us with considerable Division I experience after having logged nearly 150 innings in her freshman year," Abraham said. "I saw Makenna pitch during her travel ball years and always thought she would be a good pitcher at our level. We're expecting her to play a key role for us."
Durieux started 22 of 35 games she played for the Raiders during her freshman season and posted a 6-14 win-loss mark with a 4.
